In 2023, the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), Vancouver-based on-vehicle camera company Vizzion, and Iteris joined forces to study how the integration into ClearGuide® of Vizzion’s dashboard camera data can help agencies manage roadway safety and traffic flow in new ways.
The findings reveal the potential of on-vehicle camera images to provide valuable real-time insights into traffic incidents and conditions, improving response times and situational awareness for transportation agencies.
